9.9.9 Codetable samples

Posted by admin on 17th September 2015

Each code can be described with some text and a lookup to the actual codetable. Here’s some samples for the formating of the lookup:

Format 1
This sample uses the full sql syntax of the wordpress shortcode is_showtable:
sql=”SELECT code as Code, text as Explanation from code_nace  Limit 0,6″
[is_showtable table=”” sql=”SELECT TOP 6 code as Code, text as Explanation from code_nace “]
[is_showtable table=”” sql=”SELECT TOP 6 code as Code, text as Explanation from code_nace”]

Format 2
This sample uses the simple format of is_showtable: table=”code_nace”

[is_showtable table=”code_nace” fields=””]

Format 3
This sample uses the “table and fields” format of is_showtable: table=”code_db7″ fields=”code”

[is_showtable table=”code_db7″ fields=”code”]
[is_downtable table=”” sql=”SELECT TOP 10 code as Code, text as Explanation from code_nace”]

1.1 Using the SPIN guide

Posted by admin on 8th September 2015

1.1      Using the SPIN guide

When you first enter the guide window, none of the content menus are active. To activate a content menu you simply press one of the tab titles. To enter one of the guide documents of the current tab, you then press the title of the document of your interest in the content menu. You can navigate between the document title lines by using the mouse.

1_1.2.1

The underlying documents of each guide tab are similar to the sections in the printed SPIN Guide, and a few of the documents can also be accessed from the on-line help (see section “1.3 Using the SPIN application”). To change to another guide document you simply press the tab title of interest and select a document from the activated content menu. Pressing the “Close Guide” button closes the guide window and returns you to the window you were in, before you entered the guide.

CAS no for dangerous substances

Posted by admin on 25th April 2015

In Sweden and Denmark lists of substances belonging to generic groups in annex I to directive 67/548/EEC have been developed resulting in tables covering all CAS numbers with harmonised classifications from the authorities. Though the two tables has not yet been worked over to identify differences and possibly errors, NPG has chosen to put the tables with CAS numbers and Index number on our home page, as a help for those, who are not sure if a harmonised classification is available for a specific substance.

News in SPIN Exposure Toolbox

Posted by admin on 7th June 2012

The human exposure part in the Use Index (UI) tools has been developed. The former index indicates potential exposure mainly from private consumptions. From 2012, Use Index for “human” is complemented with a new Use Index that covers potential occupational exposure (“occupational”). The Use Index for “human” has at the same time been renamed to “consumer”. The new Use Index was released on SPIN in May 2012, and is applied from 2010 years Product Register data.
